How to read a Wyndham award quote
Wyndham is the last big program with a genuinely flat chart — a night costs one of three fixed prices, full stop, with no dynamic pricing or seasonal drift. That's about to become four prices. On 15 September 2026 the chart expands to 5,000 / 15,000 / 30,000 / 45,000 points per bedroom per night, and hotels get redistributed across the tiers at the same time. Until then, when you book matters as much as what you book, so the calculator prices both charts side by side.

Reading the result
- The verdict reads as it does on the other calculators: cents per point delivered against your floor.
- The board is the point of this page. Top row is today's three tiers, bottom row is the four that arrive on September 15, both priced against the cash rate you entered. Read across to see what each would return.
- Because the tiers are flat, the pattern is stark: a 5,000-point night at a decent cash rate is extraordinary value, and a 45,000-point night at the same rate usually isn't. Wyndham rewards booking expensive rooms at cheap tiers.
- If you're quoted today's top or bottom tier, a flag appears with the days remaining and what the change would do to this exact stay.
- The Go Fast block credits something the other calculators don't need to: a Go Fast night still earns points on its cash portion, while a Go Free night earns nothing at all.
- Click any tier on either row to load it.
Watch for
- The mapping isn't published. Wyndham has said hotels will move in both directions but hasn't released which property lands in which tier. Treat the board as a range of outcomes, not a forecast.
- Per bedroom, not per room. Award nights are priced per bedroom, so a two-bedroom suite or vacation rental costs double. Easy to miss when comparing against a cash rate for the whole unit.
- Go Free earns nothing and can't be combined with other coupons or promotions — though the nights do still count toward your next member level.
- Go Fast earns base points only. You earn on the cash portion excluding taxes and fees, but Wyndham's terms exclude accelerated earning at every member level — so your Gold, Platinum or Diamond bonus doesn't apply. Taxes are also payable on top of the discounted rate.
- The earning floor is real. 10 points per dollar or 1,000 points per qualified stay, whichever is greater. On a cheap one-night stay the floor beats the rate, and the ledger says so when it binds.
- Caesars properties have blackout dates on Go Free awards, and blackout rates above which a hotel won't offer one. Regular Wyndham hotels don't.
- A qualified stay needs a daily average rate of at least $25, and bookings through Expedia or similar earn nothing at all — book direct.
- Titanium isn't in the dropdown. Wyndham lists a fifth, invitation-only level above Diamond, but its member-levels table shows no Accelerated Earning percentage for it — so rather than guess, pick Diamond and treat the result as a floor.
